FWIW the SEC decided that Army, BYU, and Notre Dame can count

towards fulfilling the P5 requirement. It would not surprise me if the SEC's list doesn't expand over the years for one reason or another. Given that the P5 conferences can't agree upon a common, it does make me wonder if politics is involved with who made the list. Why should Cincy and UConn qualify, but not UCF, USF, Houston, or Boise State? Why should Army and Navy qualify, but not Air Force?
