I'm stuck between itemizing and standard myself


With the current VA tax law i'm better off itemizing and losing about $400-450 on my federal return and gaining $600-700 on my state return. If VA increases the standard from $3k single and $6k married to say $6k single and $12k married i'm going to be close to breakeven. So then do I want the Feds or State to get more of my money??
