If you are more worried about the people she will be exposed to, well that’s a whole other topic. And she will be exposed to a bigger variety of people and ideas and lifestyles soon enough no matter what you do. The best you can do is prepare her and be honest about your concerns.

For me, my biggest people concern for my daughters would not be anything around peer ideas or peer pressure or mean girls. I’d mostly worry about the adults, the Weinstein type people who I assume can be found in any entertainment industry that uses a lot of young people trying to get their break. I doubt that type would be around a camp, but the dad part of me would discuss with my girls just to help them be better aware of the world.
