If the proposal is for the 2 conferences to play some sort of

interconference championship game, then how could their be a scenario where "THE NO. 1 TEAM IN THE BIG 12 WOULD PLAY THE NO. 2 TEAM FROM THE PAC 12 AND VICE VERSA WITH THE TWO WINNERS PLAYING FOR THE OVERALL CHAMPIONSHIP?"

Also, I am wondering if the Pac-12 would keep its divisions or eliminate the divisions all together? If it eliminated the divisions, then would the Pac-12 have to play a round robin conference schedule in order to play in the Big XII-Pac-12 ICCG? If the Pac-12 decides to keep the divisions, then it could be tricky determining which division champion is also declared the "conference champion."

The other thing that crossed my mind is this proposal could end up backfiring on both conferences. Let's say for example in the final regular season poll both the Big XII and Pac-12 have a team ranked in the Top 4. While the ACC's, Big Ten's, or SEC's highest rank team is sitting at #5 or #6 (depending on if a P5 conference has a second team ranked #5). Under the current system and assuming the CCGs are all chalk, both the Big XII and Pac-12 would likely be represented in the Playoffs. Under this proposal, the loser of the game will be knocked out of the Playoff and whomever is ranked #5 or #6 in the final regular season poll could back their way into the Playoff.
