New rumblings on BIG expansion

It seems that the BIG has a couple of top-flight research Universities from the Big 12. Kansas and Oklahoma may be asked to complete the BIG's 16 Team vision. Talks have occurred in Lawrence and Norman with Chicago. Both will fit into the BIG footprint, important in the BIG. Another is Academics. KU is an AAU member giving them an attraction to the BIG and Our Basketball Superfactory (Yes every now and then we get a bum year, like now-Usually means that Football is on the uptick) Oklahoma brings Football and excellent academic programs. KU has hired Les Miles an honest to goodness winner and recruiter. A $310 Million dollar upgrade to Old Memorial Stadium is coming also that will bring up seating to almost 70,000 with new luxury boxes. Oklahoma's Football speaks for itself. The word is out that Texas and OSU(Yes there is a State law in Oklahoma keeping bot in the same conference but the Oklahoma Legislature can be persuaded. Despite the rumors, there is no law gluing KU and K-State. KSU may be headed to the SEC as well. What will happen to Iowa State I don't know. The BIG has been resistant to uniting the 2 Iowas. I have heard this from separate sources several times. What would they bring? Well, Nebraska seems to be feeling very nostalgic of late but won't move from where they are at. They are known to have tried to get the Conference to admit KU and OU. Both schools are considering this if Texas leaves to go Independent or join TAM in the SEC-the Big 12 will implode.
