I think #1/#2 byes get the 1 pt if they win semis OR drop and win in conso.

For the #1 and #2 byes. You get the 1 pt "advancement" for winning the semis. Do they also get the 1 pt if they drop to consolation and then win and advance to 3rd place match? That would make sense that they just need to win a match somewhere, not just the winner's bracket to validate the bye. So if they win semis (in winners bracket) they get 2 pts and if they lose semis and then win conso semis that would get 1.5 pts for advancement. If they lose-lose then nothing. I don't think it makes sense for a #1 or #2 seed to get only 0.5 advancement points for making 3rd place match when the #3 seed could win-lose-win and get 1.5 pts for making the same 3rd place match or the #3 to lose-bye-win and get 1 pt.
