Maybe getting extra rest might be good in some cases, but VT 125 isn't one.

With a .500ish record, no "signature" win, and apparently several ranked guys at 125 not getting auto-bids, Prata pretty much has to beat Fausz to get any chance of qualifying for the NCAAs.

But any slim chance that might still exist for an at-large from finishing 3rd with a close loss to Fausz goes out the window with a loss to the #6 seed from Duke. He's 2-12 on the season per Wrestlestat, with one of the wins coming by forfeit! Anything less than a MD victory in the first round would be a major disappointment. (Joey beat Campbell 14-2 in our dual.)
