Sorry for the issues, I have been thru this many times

I have had to ease several of our pups into doggy heaven over the last 20 years and at 15 your lab has led a full life. Even with treatment the possibility that a lab will live much past 15 years is pretty slim. As one of my vet friends told me, every dog he sees will eventually die of cancer of something these days. So I do the best I can for them as long as we can but I can't put them through treatments that will not increase their life span much, not worth it for them or me. Sorry again for the decision, it sucks.
