It's almost impossible to hack into the DoD or CIA. Most hacking is done


via the weakest link in the technology chain: humans and their stupidity.

So, either phishing for passwords, or taking advantage of people who aren't properly following protocol. It's why Hillary Clinton shouldn't have had classified information on an unsecure server. It's also why everyone named Trump shouldn't be using unsecure phones, and using unsecure e-mail. That's typically how information gets out.
