The American who died this week had just completed his goal of climbing the

Highest Peak on all 7 continents. Mt. Everest was the last peak he needed to reach. He was taking pics & had texted his son before he died. Tragic.
Looking at that crazy line of people waiting to get to the top would take away a lot of the appeal for me to climb that mountain.
I just watched a very good movie/documentary about mountain climbing called “Meru” on Amazon Prime.
