I was going to write a similar analysis yesterday but ran out of time. I agree that this is more of a marketing ploy to attract an institutional investor, than a viable play for a PE investment.

If I werr a PE firm, I would attach warrants to my investment in the range of $100M per year after 5 yrs if the PAC 12 can't cash them out in another way.

What university president is going to sign off on that?
