This is nothing new. Plenty of previous instances where a film or show was

delayed or cancelled because of real life events. As far as I know there haven't been any events where a quasi-religious faction overthrows the US government and forces women with viable ovaries to become unwilling surrogates. Your post comes across as "I don't like the Handmaid's Tale" more than anything. Of course it's based on a book that was written in 1985 so it's not something new either.
