Now is exactly the time when the mom is going to be so distracted and stressed and sad that any help will be appreciated. This is how community support and parenting should work. You look out for each other.

And as a dad, if I was dying I would want to know that my kids were in good hands and that my family had that extended support even if it is just little things like this. Good job.
