I had the entire house re-piped 4 years ago and they installed the 1/4 turn

shut offs on all fixtures. Work great. (Got rid of the pvc and installed Pex) . Also had them install a
1/4 turn shut off at the entrance to the house. This new fixture also had snaps vs. screws. The leak was between the inlet pipe and the new unit. Not so sure I trust the snap-ons just yet.
I have bought 2 of those basin wrenches in the past. Both were duds.
