I am curious which way they turn with the films going forward - I like the

idea of an Obi-Wan filmed with Ewan McGregor but it would need to be much less campy than the goofy dialogue Lucas put together in the prequel trilogy. The Mandalorian looks amazing and very Rogue-1-esque so maybe longer-narrative television will be the best for Star Wars as they expand the universe beyond the Skywalker lineage.

It's tough, because for me, the Jedi and light-saber duels ARE Star Wars, so I don't know that you can dismiss that all-together but I don't need everyone related to a Skywalker or to be pure Jedi either.
