For them it is. He’s by far the best candidate they could hope for.


He’s been there and knows where to recruit. He’d already come up with a list of players both in HS and the transfer portal.

He didn’t ask for money than they offered. His salary would have had him in the bottom 1/3 of the league. He wanted use of a jet, assurances that facility upgrades would happen (there’s history), and 8 instead of 6 years. Buyout was the same. It shows Rutgers isn’t ready to try and go big time.
