Fuse probably goes before element. I've done this repair and its not hard


Parts readily available on Amazon. Check continuity of fuses first (requires a meter....borrow if you don't have or get one for $15 bucks). Some fuses can actually be "reset" by slamming them on the floor instead of replacing. Youtube has a zillion videos on how to do. Only a couple tools needed.
If fuse went there is a good chance that ventilation is not good allowing too much heat. Check your vents and filters.
