I had a motor auxiliary contact go bad years ago. Motor works, but element


never gets a signal back that it is running so it won't turn on. Unfortunately, the contact was integral to the motor so a $5 part was a $100 part. I recall getting the blower fan blade off the motor shaft being a challenge. If this is your problem, then I'd buy a new fan blade as well. It was plastic so didn't cost much. Then you can just destroy the old blower fan to get the old motor out.
