ND joined the Big East in 1995.

nothing changed about that deal until 2012.

There was no "football marriage in hell" that came after the initial entry of ND other sports into the Big East.

P.S. I grew up an ND fan in the Sixties/Seventies 25 miles from Morgantown. I understand the deep mutual dislike that ND and WVU fans have for each other.

It goes way back, well before 1995 and the Big East.
