I did a project for one of the largest based in Orlando, FL. Met the

billionaire who owned it...total scummy place. Complete with strippers, limos, and champaign at pickup/marketing stage. The avg annual salary was $23K and they did a monthly sweep of credit cards to get payments. Default, no worries...raise annual maintenance...you bet. Taxes...on the owners...but paid through the timeshare = float of free treasury funds. RUN and never guy a timeshare. Oh ...fun fact, the owners house was built by the same dudes who built epcot and Micheal Jackson wanted to buy his house for $85MM...he got caught with his admin who I had to talk to almost daily...she was borderline worth his $200MM+ divorce settlement. His X worked with the epcot dudes to capture all the light settings at the 12 places she would normally go...like a grocery store and had a setting for each on her make-up mirror....gross. BTW, this dude went heavy into timeshares in Utah pre-olympics (cough Canyons...Park City) and made even more fortunes....TOTAL slime.
