I'm almost envious of those who return to the 'burg for extended

stays occasionally. I can't say as I harbor antiburgian tendencies, but I just don't have any inclination to go back. After a spate of SG and other football games into the late 1990s, I just haven't been back.

Maybe it was the 18 years I lived there (14 after I left un-pedigreed). Am glad I went there, have many great and odd memories, but I guess when I left it was to put that time of my life permanently in the rear view.
