Last word on the DMV. The real ID thing had to be done at a main branch but

for renewing tags, transfers etc there residing in a small mom and pop grocery store in the community in which I live is a little DMV that is run by local folks that we know and is very efficient.

They have to go by DMV rules of course but they do it with a smile and they ask about the family and pets. DMV needs more places like this.
