"IF" Tech did decide to cut an Olympic sports program...

it would have to be a men's program because of Title IX. If Tech cut women's golf, they would have to get rid of a sport like men's golf. I don't se that happening.

I would be opposed to cutting any of our Olympic sports programs. The purpose of those sports is to provide gifted (athletically and/or academically) high school athletes financial support (a full or partial athletic scholarship) to attend college and to promote school pride through athletic competition. The intent for football should be the same for women's golf.
