Make sure you explore the various options out there. It's the right option

for some folks, but maybe not others.

Peloton is a high quality exercise bike, plus all the live online classes you can participate in. This "live" participation will probably appeal to and motivate a lot of people.

Another option to consider is to get a bike trainer that you attach your real bike to. You can subscribe to various services at maybe $7 to $15 per month where you ride virtually with other riders over simulated courses of various lengths. So you still get the appeal of an online community to help motivate you at lower cost (but it's not the same as having a class with a real vocal leader). You can also use these trainers offline, just like a regular exercise bike.
