Makers vs Takers Arguement


Vast percentage of country's wealth and country's tax base is produced in a handful of major cities and states. Cities that are dense and prone to huge outbreaks,deaths, hospitalizations, etc (see NYC, Silicon Valley, Boston) . A large swath of the country that wants to "Open" up, is in less dense, and/or less productive areas, that proportionally contribute much less to the country's economy, and consume much more in federal revenues than they contribute (see South Carolina)
