Can't speak to UofR as they are private and don't know how that works

from an internal ops point of view. The school, in general, does not offer in state and out of state contrasting tuition like VT does, to attend. Would have to know what that means for them (have no idea when your cousin went through this). There is a major, distinct difference at VT, and much more than an accounting exercise. It is real dollars and the university doesn't reduce the out of state tuition because they are athletes. It is a substantial cost difference to the athletic department here.
