I recently cut the cord from Dish and went to Hulu. Let's say I'm satisfied

Not blown away or anything. The one thing I miss from Dish (after 17 years with them) is the ability to change channels so quickly...and having channel numbers. There's a lot more searching to find what I want to watch. I miss knowing ESPN was on channel 140 and the like. If I want to watch TBS then I have to scroll down through the alphabet until I get to channels that start with T.
I'm also not cool with paying for Hulu+No Ads....but still get forced ads on many shows I record.
I did get a Roku which has helped with gathering my preferred streaming services together in one near place. I have Hulu, Netflix, prime, and Disney. Like you, my biggest concern was having to switch through and load content when I changed platforms....if I'm watching something on Hulu and want to watch another show on Netflix, it is more than just changing channels like I'm used to.
I bumped up my internet speed, but I am still paying less for Hulu+No Ads with Disney+ than I was with the Dish Top 200 or whatever it was I had to upgrade to to get ACC Network.
