This would be my guess and I know almost nothing about electrical


stuff, just enough to electrocute myself and be dangerous. My guess they tested if it was putting out a current, but once an actual "draw" the battery does nothing. There is still a gremlin in the system, somewhere. Guessing alternator is not putting out enough current to run the Bronco and charge the battery so over time it will drain the battery.
