What about those w/both. The 6yo not going to spread COVID to the family?
Too many rules and regulations that are not going to work.
- Lots of families have kids in multiple age groups. So if you have a 6 year old, how is it ok that she go to school where she will be in close proximity to her friends, come home and not spread COVID-19 to her 14 year old brother, parents & grandparents? Should the 14 year old also go to school now since he's already at risk from his sister of getting infected?
- How do you pay for the extra bussing costs?
- Where do you find the extra bus drivers? My area is always looking for bus drivers?
- Don't think voluntarily wearing masks are going to work for students in Phase 3. If kids were anything like my friends especially in high school, there will be mass non-compliance.
- How do you protect your teachers / bus drivers & staff who are the most at risk?
To me you either go or you don't go, but everything in between won't prevent COVID and requires a lot of rules and regulations that will almost be impossible to comply with on a day-to-day basis.
