Master bath reno: Remove bath tub and expand shower?

We want a larger shower. Right now its just a small stall with a Jacuzzi style bathtub next to it that we rarely use.

The existing shower is disgusting and falling apart so something needs to be done anyway. We figured take the opportunity to expand the shower and renovate the whole bathroom. And might be in the house for another 2 years at the most.

Q: Would removing a bathtub and making a really nice expanded shower hurt or help our resell value. Or about the same?

Q2: How many adults actually use their bathtub? There are 2 other bathtubs in the house.

Q3: I need some of your expanded shower ideas.
