Some of us would like to see media objectivity.


But it will never happen.

Also, there's a difference between someone citing an article that mostly lays out data and citing an article that is heavily editorialized. I think most people just want to be presented with opinion-free information so that they can make their own decisions. Most of what we get from mainstream sources, however, is dripping in bias, either hidden between the lines, or sometimes totally out in the open. And yes, it happens on both sides of the political aisle. But when you distrust the other side, you default to placing more trust in the sources on "your own side" - and everyone here is guilty of this. That's the world we're forced to live in when news media is driven by ad revenue.
