any other term being used for when we can get back to 'normal', whatever that will turn out to be now. Had we done a better job with nursing homes, the death rate of this virus wouldn't be a whole lot worse than seasonal flu - almost half of the deaths in the US have come from nursing homes.
So when will it be 'safe' to go back to schools and offices? When will it be 'safe' to no longer wear masks? Obviously the answer to at least the second question is 'not right now' but will there ever be a measurable/metric provided to give the people a goal? Is the metric a death rate? A positive test percentage? Or will many continue to use the bogus/meaningless 'number of cases' as a metric? I honestly don't think anyone knows or will provide that information at this point if they do know. I believe I was killed for using the term 'slippery slope' here back in April and we are well down that slope now with no path back at this point.
