What an odd post. It has almost nothing to do with the post you responded

to. In fact if it weren't the quote at the end I'd think you simply replied to the wrong post. That said allow me to rebut and refute. I explained in my previous post that I have posted things that contradict his and why I've given up trying to do so. I even gave an example regarding Sweden specifically. So my question to you would be why ask me something that was already answered?

Nowhere did I claim to be the "resident Covid expert". If anyone here has tried to paint themselves as an "expert" on this it's the poster I was referring to in my previous post. He's the one who has claimed to be unbiased, data driven, yada yada yada so maybe direct your misplaced anger towards him? I've said multiple times that this is a new virus and things change quickly so I'm glad to hear you agree with me on that. In fact I literally said in the post you replied to " Mostly because things change quickly with this"... did you miss that part?

It's confusing b/c I didn't really make any claims about the virus in my post so I'm not sure what you think I "know best" about or why you think I know something you don't. I was simply explaining the reason behind Stork's post and the reason why I personally have stopped trying to argue with ColoVT82. In case you missed it (b/c you don't seem to have actually read my post), it's because when all this started I would post those "charts, graphs, or something official to contradict it" and he would ignore it or dismiss it (you know the things you're complaining about me doing). I guess that's my fault for attempting to explain something when asked about it.

The quote you posted means I don't think we can point to Country X (whether that's Sweden or New Zealand or Qatar) and say "That's what we should do" because our country is unique. That doesn't mean I'm happy with how we've responded to it. It's just that I recognize and acknowledge that our country is different from just about any other one in the world.

Finally, I'll point out the irony of you talking about being appointed the resident expert on something while in the same breath trying to tell me what I can or should do. Who appointed you the resident message board arbiter? Who are you to tell me or anyone else when I'm able to comment or not? If it's just the same to you I'll continue to post when I want to and ignore things when I want to. You are free to do the same.
