The attention being paid to it now is by people who are misrepresenting it (like you just did) and trying to push an agenda that the death count is not accurate. And while your point may or may not have been about it being new, the OP that I replied to definitely said it was new and multiple articles about it say something like the CDC "quietly updated its site" which of course is false. If you want to ask a question in general you could easily reply to the original post instead of mine. And you're the one who tried to imply I wasn't "curious" (oddly enough because I dared to question something) but you are welcome for me taking my own time and effort to attempt to better educate you and others here.
