Dave looked sharp on his attacks and he really separated himself in the second period. He said in an interview that Wrestling Underground posted on instagram after the weigh-ins that he's looking to wrestle at 79 kg for Worlds and 74 kg for Olympics. Going up against Mekhi will certainly be interesting and heart wrenching for us Hokies.

Overall, I thought the event was really solid! I really hope UFC/Chael Sonnen decide to keep doing these. For those that didn't see it, it was UWW rules but in a cage. Took a while to get used to it but it wore off on me by the end. The greco match was great (some big throws). Berger-McKenna was a great way to start off the night.

I really don't mean to diss Flo (they've done a ton for the sport up to this point) but the production value of this event was extremely smooth compared to the latest Flo card. You could tell that UFC, obviously, has the dough to hire the right production personnel and equipment.
