According to the Wall Street Journal, the Mondera Study had a control group
of 30,000. I assume half were given a placebo and half the vaccine. Of those who got the placebo,95 got Coronavirus and those who got the vaccine, only 5 got the Coronavirus meaning there is strong evidence it prevented infection. Yea some can and will still get the virus and may very well die but that sounds pretty good to me. Plus the advancement in therapeutics will help those that get it survive.
I find it amazing what these drug companies have done in the short amount of time since the inception of the Coronavirus. It has been 36 years since HIV started and there is still no vaccine to prevent infection only viral suppression, which has gotten to point that people with HIV have an undetectable viral load.
The date and the newspaper probably had something to do with the negativity of the article.
