ACC schools dont have confusing leadership. ACC schools vision is academic institutions of excellence that also have excellence in athletics. There is no mission statement for TV network, or demands for 100k stadiums academics goes first and then athletics . The presidents at the acc schools are the big leaders who work collaboratively with the ACC president. The AD's then manage the conference and report to the presidents and the coaches work for the AD's. The student athletes also are engaged. The ACC has the most diverse set of land grant, (NC State, VT Clemson), leading national universities (UVA, NC, GT), private universities (Duke Wake, Miami, Syracuse ND and BC) and city schools Louisville and Pitt). That's definitely NOT the makeup of the SEC.

ACC schools are national leaders in the classroom, boardroom and represent a competitive well rounded competitive program for their institutions.
