Are you SURE this isn't money owed to you?


Think back to when you started the job, if you can. Did it take a while before you got your first paycheck? Don't some government jobs lag a bit, so that if you leave on Day X you'll still get one if not two more paychecks? I'd make sure of that before you go giving any of it back.
