I used to say it took longer for a good check mailed across town to

arrive than one with an NSF gamble from CLT to CA. When we were selling our old house we wanted to fire our real estate agent - and have his firm provide us another. We sent the bad guy a registered letter and it first tracked to Phoenix AZ and finally arrived after 12 days. In the interim we emailed the guy the letter and had a new agent on duty before the original registered letter finally got to the right place.
