If you aren't using it as a "trade" vehicle, or any other "heavy hauling" on a regular basis, buy something else.

Now if you need a pickup, but not one that large, maybe buy a "mid-size" replacement, such as a Tacoma, Ranger, S-10/Colorado, Frontier, etc.? If you can get buy without having a truck bed, but still want to haul stuff like bags of mulch, look at a small SUV.
