Good memory, RJ. Hokies blasted her last time

I vividly remember that game. Nester entered the game in the first inning after the NC State starter had walked the first 3 batters she faced.

Emma Strouth blasted her first pitch over the center field fence for a grand slam. Then Maddi Banks and Darby Trull took her yard in the second inning. Nester pitched 1 inning and gave up 5 hits and 4 runs.

I even made a video of the Hokie highlights from that game

Last year, Covid hit 3 days before NC State was supposed to come to Blacksburg, so the two teams didn't meet.
