How about not play them 30mpg? We had the same question this year..
With Diarra and two 4 star recruits coming in everyone was just trying to guess who would transfer, instead we end up running Radford and Alleyne into the ground and forcing Cattoor to play PG because we had no quality depth.
How nice would to be to be able to run MY's system at 100% with fresh legs for 40mpg? It would be awesome not to wear down in the 2nd halves of games because we have enough players. Do you know how intimidating it is when you can plattoon players like UNC and FSU do?
Bottom line is our team is 1+1=3, its outcomes are better than the sum of it's parts because of the system, but we don't have NBA level players here so we shouldn't expect NBA level minutes and similar contributions. Nobody should be playing more than 25mpg realistically, but Aluma will have to do that because of depth issues. Our guards however, should each give 20 minutes of hell every game so by crunch time we can roll out a fresh Jalen Cone and say "Okay Tre Mann try and stop this guy now"
