If you play a guy that gives up a bucket then turns it over for another that would've been the difference in wins vs Miami 2x, Wake Forest, Villanova, and probably Clemson given it was FTs that save that game.

If you don't trust a guy you can't afford to play him, even if it's just to give someone a breather. That's the exact reason Bamisile didn't play and Maddox did. We play at one of the slowest paces in the country so possessions have extra importance, not only did he play Maddox but gave him the green light to shoot at will. That's normally not something you do for a guy who's just trying to eat time, he was trying to instill some confidence in him.
