Here's Duke's e-mail to a parent


"Due to the continued impact of COVID-19, Duke athletics is conducting all home events without spectators (including new allotment for player guest for either team) All contests played on Duke’s campus will be essential team personnel, game management personnel, and broadcast media only. All traditional parking lot used by fans on game days will be closed. Tailgating and/or gatherings to watch outside the venue is not permitted and will be actively enforced on game day."

It's amazing how Covid-19 apparently only affects people at Duke sporting events. Yet the CDC issued guidance today that it's now okay for vaccinated people to travel.

I thought they were cutting edge.
