I wouldn't spend a ton on baby furniture
We spent a lit on a convertable crib both kids are still using today, but they are oretty damaged and ready to be replaced. Kids are tough on furniture.
Plus, when they are 9 or 10, they won't want a white dresser anymore and you don't have anywhere to put it.
Go mid-level furniture rhat looks okay and don't worry when they damage it or hate it and demand a change as a teen or pre-teen.
