Yes, a thousand times.
The whole thing, just like each of us had/have jobs is primarily for $$$$$. The whole enterprise of college football and MBB is about adverti$ing and $ell, $ell, $ell. People buying brand name gear, and beer, well some spurtles as well :-)
So it appears that the best way to the most money, which again is the only reason we have the extent of college sports we do, is about 30ish national name carriers of the advertising. I have labeled them the National Media Marketing Pieces.
That is the model number in MBB, NFL and NBA. If more were needed to make more money, they would add them.
If the above is true, then everyone over the 30 is nothing but a cost and drain on the enterprise.
