only bad teacher. Teacher say...student do.

Millennials were told to go get a college degree because it was the only way to get ahead. So they did. Then found out it was worthless. Was it really their fault, or the Boomers/X'ers who told them to do it?

I'm not really a fan of just hand-waving student loan debt away. But I could get behind legitimate ways to work off the debt in public service, or lowering the interest rates to zero, or if you go a year without missing a payment, credit you an additional payment for that year...or something to help out. Young people with that much debt because they did what they were told don't deserve that much financial stress.

But I also really hate sending the message that no matter how big a mistake you make, Uncle Sam will save you.
