I get that the Rangers were mad, but they really embarrassed themselves for about 48 straight hours. At best they were 0-4-2 in the fights. Smith refused to fight Chara in the opening line brawl then got beat up pretty badly by Wilson. Buchenevich looked like the biggest goon on the ice and is looking at losing the rest of his season for cross-checking Mantha in the face. Meanwhile nobody wanted to fight Dillon or Chara. Nobody. Zibanejad looked like he just wanted to go home.

In the meantime, one of the most popular players in the game (I work with a lot of people from STL, and they still adore him) has a beautiful night right after his beloved father passes away, and it's lost in the ugliness of the Rangers' vigilantism. What a shame.
