But it takes donors and passionate people for the program. You all know I am not a huge fan of Pete but this is one area I feel he really falls short. Thank goodness Chip ran the raffle to raise some money. Otherwise he has shown to not be very approachable to parents, alumni, and fans which is largely where the money is going to come from. As per of the new Hokie Club Drive, there will be some dollars but I feel like there must be more directed dollars into the program. To do so, people like to feel appreciated and frankly need to be “marketed” to. That is what builds better facilities. Similar issue for Fuente frankly. Meanwhile both basketball coaches are very approachable and the funding is showing. My two cents.
