Not sure why they thought they would get the ACCN. It's been an ESPN...

...property since the beginning.

And yes, ESPN used to bash the ACC continually after they had the SEC network on the air. Never understood that reasoning... We weren't as good as the SEC in football, but were comparable to the rest of the P5 conferences. They didn't get bashed on a daily basis, but ESPN seemed to take pleasure in bashing the ACC.
